Today was almost a carbon copy of yesterday's ride with many, many rolling hills. Evidently someone on staff counted them on a previous tour, the unofficial number of hills today wass 148 (yesterday's ride supposedly had 151 hills). With about 5000 feet of climbing, it was another difficult day. Fortunately the temperatures were moderate. The scenery was primarily farms with most of the ride on rural country roads.
We finished in Kirksville a north central Missouri town with a population of 17,000. Tomorrow we are out of the rolling hills and heading across the Mississippi River.
